£10,000 Prize Money Series @ Cromer

Following the success of last year's inaugural Progress Tour grass court event on the east coast, 'Wimbledon-by-the-Sea' returns for it's second edition to kick off the grass court swing. Contenders will look to steal the titles from current holders, Toby Samuel (ATP 542) and Joanna Garland (WTA 269) who used the Cromer event as a springboard for a great summer of competition. 

This event forms part of the Progress Tour Prize Money Series, an independent prize money event providing separate Men's & Women's events, with equal prize money.  All relevant matches are submitted towards Universal Tennis Rating & World Tennis Number. The event is an 'open to all challengers event', providing all players with the opportunity to progress and earn their way through to the money rounds....

Date -

Monday 5th - Friday 9th June 2023 - Players must be ready to play on all days of the event.

What to expect -

Minimum of three plus level-based, and progressive Singles WTN/UTR powered matches for every player - £10,000 Prize Money. Main draw for top ranked players will take place on (Wednesday 7th) Thursday 8th & Friday 9th June

Format -

Best of three set matches - Qualifying & Main Draw, plus all playback matches will be two full sets, plus championship tie-break deciding set.  Refereed by an approved Progress Tour representative.

Surface -

Grass court (alternative outdoor surface may be used in the event of extreme weather)

Players -  

Open to all Male and Female players, with a recommended UTR of 6+. Draws wil be structured and seeded according to UTR level.

Entries -

2pm on Thursday 1st June 2022 OR when entries are full.

Entry & Withdrawal deadline are one and the same. Any withdrawal received after this time, will not receive an entry fee refund.

Quarter-Finalist £250**

(Subject to receiving minimum number of entries - 40 players. Prize Fund subject to revision on entry deadline).
