Mens Event - Open to all challengers...

This event is a new Wild-card shootout event, feeding into the UTR Pro Tennis Tour - presented by The Progress Tour, at the same venue week commencing 31st October 2022. All matches will be submitted to count towards Universal Tennis Rating & World Tennis Number.

The Wild-card feeder format allows players of all levels to play in the same tournament, and start the tournament at the appropriate level. Players are placed in different parts of the draw based on their entry level rating, alongside players of a similar level, with higher level players start at a later stage in the same event. This level-based and progressive format increases the likelihood of high-quality competitive matches for all players, whilst also offering players the opportunity to progress and play against higher level opposition. Successful players in each division will win a slice of the prize pot and the opportunity to progress to the next draw, as well as the Division 1/Tableau Champion and Finalist earning their spot in the $25,000 UTR Pro Tennis Tour event at the same venue the following week*

With separate draws, players will earn their progression through to the money rounds, as well as the four semi-finalists in each draw progressing into the next higher level draw as shown in the image below.

What to expect :

2-3 level-based, and progressive Singles WTN/UTR powered matches for each player - £1,650 Prize Money plus Wild-card opportunities into UTR Pro Tennis Tour event in Norwich week commencing October 31st. Main draw for top ranked players will take place on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October.

Format:

Best of three set matches - plus all playback matches will be two full sets, plus championship tie-break deciding set. Refereed by an approved Progress Tour representative.

Indoor Hard

Players:

Open to male players off all ages, with a recommended UTR of 5.0 upwards - level-based and progressive matches for all. Players will be drawn according to their UTR level, with the lower rated players starting in Division 3, and the highest rated players starting in Division 1

2pm on Sunday 23rd October 2022 OR when entries are full.

Please note, entries are based on a first come first served basis.
