COMPETE & EARN 2024
'The Pressure Cooker'

The Progress Tour introduces an exciting new format as part of the 2024 Compete & Earn circuit. 'The Pressure Cooker' format embodies exactly what the tour stands for - providing high-quality, level-based competitive opportunities, whilst promoting sound competitive values, and rewarding players for their competitive performance rather than on the conventional win/loss of a linear draw format. Irrespective of the outcome of a match, players are encouraged to battle for each set, each game and ultimately until the very final point of the event.

Entries will operate on a first come, first served basis to any male or female player of the appropriate UTR level (7.0 and higher), offering equal playing opportunity to all players with four level-based matches across each two-day circuit event. At the end of each event, players will be placed into final standings based on their 'pressure performance' across all of their matches using a weighted algorithm, with prizes being awarded based on a player's final standings. Throughout the year, players will compete to improve their standings on the Compete & Earn 2024 leaderboard.

With a significant level of year-end financial support, as well as other invaluable developmental opportunities available for the leading players at the end of the season, we aim to reward the players who have competed the hardest across the calendar year, crowning the ultimate Pressure players of 2024.
