£10,000 Prize Money Series - Cardiff

This event is part of the Progress Tour Prize Money Series, a singles event providing separate Men's & Women's events. UTR Ratings are used for seeding purposes and draw composition, but all matches are now being submitted towards players Universal Tennis Rating & ITF World Tennis Number.

Wednesday, 3rd January -  Saturday, 6th January 2023 - Players must be ready to play on all days of the event

Matchplay will start at 9AM each day, with matches taking place throughout the day.

What to expect -

Minimum of three plus level-based, and progressive Singles WTN/UTR powered matches for every player - £10,000 Prize Money. Main draw for higher ranked players will take place on Thursday 4th, Friday 5th & Saturday 6th January

Format -

Best of three set matches - Qualifying & Main Draw, plus all playback matches will be two full sets, plus championship tie-break deciding set. Refereed by an approved Progress Tour representative. The Progress Tour operates a level-based and progressive format with staggered entry level draws, meaning lower rated players will have the opportunity to progress their way through to join higher rated players in the tableu draw, to play for prize money and wild-card opportunities.

Open to male and female players off all ages, with a recommended UTR of 5.0 upwards - level-based and progressive matches for all.

2pm on Friday 29th December 2022 OR when entries are full.

Entry & Withdrawal deadline are one and the same. Any withdrawal received after this time, will not receive an entry fee refund.
