MEN'S £5,000 Prize Money Series @ Edgbaston

This event is part of the Progress Tour Prize Money Series, a singles event providing separate Men's & Women's events  All Matches are now being submitted towards Universal Tennis Rating & World Tennis Number.

Wednesday 16th - Saturday 19th March 2022 - Players must be ready to play on all days of the event  

What to expect -  

Minimum of three plus level-based, and progressive Singles WTN/UTR powered matches for every player - £5,000 Prize Money. Main draw for top ranked players will take place on Friday 18th & Saturday 19th March

Format -  

Best of three set matches - Qualifying & Main Draw, plus all playback matches will be two full sets, plus championship tie-break deciding set.   Refereed by an approved Progress Tour representative.   

Surface -  

Indoor Hard  

Players -  Open to male players off all ages, with a recommended UTR of 5.0 upwards - level-based and progressive matches for all.  

Entries -  

2pm on Wednesday 9th March 2022 OR when entries are full. 

Entry & Withdrawal deadline are one and the same. Any withdrawal received after this time, will not receive an entry fee refund.

Prize Money - 

Mens Tableau and Womens Tableau events 

Winner £1000, Finalist £500, Semi-Finalist £250, Quarter-Finalist £125**  

(Subject to receiving minimum number of entries - 40 players. Prize Fund subject to revision on entry deadline).   

** QF Prize Money awarded only if tableau draw is 16  

ITF Wild Cards - 

Men's Draw - Winner receives Qualifying Wild Card into first swing of £25K events. 

Important Player Entry Information!

Players can enter via the button below anytime before the official entry deadline. Players will then be sent an email including a link to complete payment of entry fee 3 days before the event. Once this email has been sent, it is the players' responsibility to ensure they complete payment within 24 hours . Any players who do not complete transfer of entry fee's will be removed from the entry list at this time. Entry and withdrawal deadline are one and the same, meaning any withdrawal received after the entry deadline has passed will not be eligible for a refund of entry fee. For players wishing to withdraw from the event before this time, can cancel/withdraw their entry at any time via the 'Cancelation' link within the confirmation email - this will confirm your withdrawal from the event.

PLEASE NOTE:  

• If any player (or plus one) is feeling unwell or experiencing any covid related symptoms, they must contact the tournament referee/director as soon as possible, and must not come on to site.  

• Tournament Director Barry Fulcher  

• All players and attendees are encouraged to follow social distancing guidelines throughout the course of the event.  

• Hand sanitiser will be available at the courts - players are encouraged to use on entering and exiting the courts.  

• There are limited access to facilities on site - players are asked to bring their own drinks, food and towels etc to last the day.
