Final stop on our 2022 Summer Swing…

We've only just wrapped up our £5,000 Prize Money Event at Redhill and we're already onto the third and final event of our 2022 Summer Swing at Sutton! Last week's event brought talented players from all over the country to the fabulous Redhill Lawn Tennis Club, showcasing some high quality tennis to the local Surrey crowd. The event came to a close with Alicia Dudeney falling just short in a second attempt at a Progress Tour title this month against Katie Stresnakova, who walked away with the 6-2 7-5 victory, claiming her third Progress Tour title in the last 12 months. The Men's final saw Michael Shaw winning his first Progress Tour event topping Oscar Brown with a 6-3 7-5 score.

A quick turnaround see’s the tour arrive in Sutton for the last leg of our 2022 Progress Tour Summer Swing, and we are closing it out with a bang! This week sees a new Progress Tour record set with a total of 109 players entered into our £10,000 event at Sutton. Not only will the winners walk away with a substantial prize fund, but we also have several ITF £25K Wildcards on offer for the Men's and Women's winners and the Men's finalist... Previous Progress Tour winners, Brandon Murphy and Katie Stresnakova claim the top spots in the draw, with Brandon aiming for his second, and Katie aiming to pick up her fourth Progress Tour title.

Matches will take place from today, 27 June, until Friday, 1 July, with Tableau matches taking off on Wednesday. To see the draws and keep up with the latest results, please visit https://app.universaltennis.com/events/110331 and give us a follow on our IG account @theprogresstour.
